2005 Cayalla RTW Winemaking Notes
Select cuvees from top sites in the Walla Walla Valley were blended with choice lots from the Columbia Valley to produce our second release:  2005 Cayalla RTW.  After going through malo-lactic fermentation, the wines were aged nine months in a combination of new, one year, and two year old French oak barrels, prior to final assemblage.

 
2005 Cayalla RTW Tasting Notes
Richly aromatic with layers of ripe berries and vanilla beans.  Supple and generously textured with waves of black cherry and cocoa flavors supported by a foundation of earth and minerals.  Soft, silky tannins are flanked by gentle acidity throughout the lengthy finish.

2004 Cayalla RTW Tasting Notes
Lively aromas of fresh berries and toasted vanilla beans are framed by faint herbal tones.  Supple and delicious, with waves of black cherry and chocolate flavors that flow over a foundation of earth and minerals.  Soft, silky tannins give way to a mouthwatering finish, flanked by gentle acidity.
